King Charles III and Queen Camilla host state banquet for Sultan of Oman

King Charles III and Queen Camilla hosted a state banquet at Windsor Castle in honor of the Sultan of Oman. The event, which included over 150 guests, featured members of the royal family including the Prince and Princess of Wales, Princess Anne, and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester.

Queen Camilla wore the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland Tiara, a piece formerly belonging to Queen Elizabeth II, along with amethyst earrings that belonged to the Duchess of Kent. She also wore Art Deco Cartier bracelets previously owned by the Queen Mother.

The Princess of Wales attended the banquet in a long golden gown. During the live broadcast of the event, observers noted that the fabric of her dress became momentarily caught beneath her chair during the speeches, though no significant mishap occurred.
