King Charles Invites Harry and Meghan's Children for First UK Visit in Four Years

King Charles has extended a personal invitation to his son Harry, daughter‑in‑law Meghan and their children, Archie (7) and Lilibet (5), to visit the United Kingdom, with the visit scheduled for 22 June 2026. It will be the first time the children have been in the UK since 2022, and the first time the family has gathered together in person since the couple stepped back from royal duties in 2020 and relocated to the United States.

The invitation includes an offer of accommodation at a royal residence to resolve the security arrangements that previously blocked the youngsters’ travel. While palace officials present it as a step toward family reconciliation, a source close to the royals told the press it could be “a trap” that might generate further tension within the monarch’s household.
