King Charles remains active amid health issues as Prince William's duties grow
King Charles III continues to carry out official duties despite ongoing health challenges, including his cancer diagnosis and treatment. In June he visited Grimsby, meeting local community groups and attending a charity event.
Prince William has increasingly taken on public responsibilities, representing the monarch at a range of functions and focusing on environmental initiatives, the Earthshot Prize and other charitable work.
During the Grimsby visit, a community member mistakenly addressed the king as "darling" instead of "Your Majesty." Charles responded with humor, saying he liked being called "darling" and apologised for the slip, displaying a personable side as he interacted with the crowd.
