King Coffee's first US location in Anaheim has closed

The first King Coffee location in the United States, situated in the Anaheim GardenWalk near Disneyland in California, has reportedly closed permanently. The shop, located at 321 W Katella Ave, Suite 142, is now marked as “Permanently closed” on Google Maps and Wanderlog.

Official floor plans and tenant lists for the Anaheim GardenWalk shopping center no longer include the King Coffee brand, although neighboring businesses remain listed. Attempts to contact the store via its listed telephone number were unsuccessful.

Founded by Le Hoang Diep Thao, King Coffee opened this flagship US location in May 2021, featuring Vietnamese specialties such as egg coffee and iced milk coffee. The brand had previously set a goal to expand to 100 stores within the US market. The exact timing and cause of the closure remain unclear.
