King County Elections releases final LD 41 primary results

King County Elections has released the final primary results for the 41st Legislative District, determining the candidates for the November 3 general election.

In the State Representative Position No. 1 race, incumbent Democrat Janice Zahn received 72.04% of the vote, while Republican Elle Nguyen secured 26.76%. For Position No. 2, incumbent Democrat My-Linh Thai will face Independent Michael Rosen in the general election, with Thai receiving 66.32% and Rosen 33.40% of the votes.

Additionally, in the Legislative District No. 5, State Representative Position No. 1 race, Mercer Island Police Chief Michelle Bennett (R) advanced to the general election alongside Democrat Zach Hall, who received 44.53% to Bennett’s 43.04%.
