King Faisal Specialist Hospital recognized for digital maturity and AI innovation

King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre (KFSH) has been named one of only 15 hospitals globally to receive both the maximum five-ribbon digital maturity rating and the new Leader in AI Innovation distinction in Newsweek’s World’s Best Smart Hospitals 2027 ranking.

This recognition places KFSH among the top 4% of the 410 hospitals evaluated across 33 countries. The hospital’s performance is attributed to an integrated approach utilizing artificial intelligence, predictive analytics, and intelligent patient-flow management to improve clinical decision-making and operational efficiency.

In addition to these honors, KFSH was ranked first in the Middle East and Africa and 12th globally among the top 250 academic medical centers for 2026.
