King Faisal University climbs 81 spots to rank 567 in QS World Rankings 2027
King Faisal University in Al‑Ahsa, Saudi Arabia advanced 81 positions in the QS World University Rankings 2027, reaching 567 globally and eighth among Saudi institutions. This marks the university’s third consecutive year of upward movement, having been placed in the 761‑770 band in the 2025 edition and at 648 in 2026.
The improvement is credited to gains in key ranking indicators such as academic reputation, graduate employability, research citations, international collaboration and sustainability efforts. University officials said the results reinforce the institution’s strategic alignment with Saudi Vision 2030 and the nation’s human‑capacity development programme.
