King Felipe VI receives Andalucía-América Foundation Board
King Felipe VI received the Board of Trustees of the Andalucía-América Foundation at the Zarzuela Palace. The new entity aims to strengthen the relationship between Spain and the Americas through institutional, business, and cultural cooperation.
The foundation seeks to position Andalusia as a central hub for relations between Europe and Ibero-America. Key initiatives include talent exchange via university scholarships and creating awards for excellence in science, research, culture, and economic development.
The Board is led by Santiago Muñoz Machado, director of the Royal Spanish Academy, with Francisco Martínez-Cosentino and Concepción Yoldi serving as vice presidents.
