King Felipe VI visits Mondragon amid republican protests

King Felipe VI is scheduled to visit the Mondragon Corporation in Aretxabaleta, located in the Debagoiena region. His itinerary includes visiting the Mondragon Management and Cooperative Development Center to discuss the group's strategic lines, followed by a visit to an unidentified industrial production plant.

In response to the royal visit, a protest has been organized in the nearby town of Arrasate. Protesters have called for a gathering at Herriko Plaza, using the slogan “Kanpora!” (Out!) and advocating for a Basque republic. The organizers have requested that residents display ikurriñas on their balconies as a sign of opposition to the monarch's presence.
