King & Prince’s Takahashi Kaito joins comedians for record‑breaking Hakodate food marathon

On August 3, a three‑hour special of TV Asahi’s program “帰れマンデー見っけ隊!!” aired featuring King & Prince member Takahashi Kaito together with the comedy duos Takashi & Toshi and Sandwitchman. The quartet travelled to Hakodate, Hokkaido, during the region’s cool summer season to hunt for the city’s three signature dishes – seafood bowl, salt ramen and a new‑style sweet – and to sample a wide array of local foods. Their eating spree, described as a “super‑eating tour,” broke the show’s record for the highest number of dishes tasted in a single episode.

The segment also included a quest for a mysterious “map‑less ruin” on Mount Hakodate, adding a light‑hearted adventure element to the culinary journey.
