Saudi Ministry of Interior launches Prince Nayef Quran competition

The Saudi Ministry of Interior has announced the launch of the first edition of the Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz Quran Memorization Competition. The initiative is designed for employees of the Ministry, regional emirates, and various security sectors, including officers, personnel, civilian employees, and students.

The competition features five categories with a total prize pool of 3 million riyals. The first category, for full Quran memorization, offers 1.2 million riyals. Other categories cover the memorization of 15, 10, 5, and 2 parts (juz), with prizes of 800,000, 500,000, 300,000, and 200,000 riyals, respectively.

Participants must pass an initial stage with a minimum score of 85%. Military contestants are required to wear their official uniforms during testing. Dr. Abdulsalam Al-Sulaiman, the competition supervisor, noted that the event honors the legacy of Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz and aligns with the Kingdom’s commitment to supporting Quranic studies and intellectual security.
