King Salman Relief Centre expands aid in Sudan and Syria

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) is expanding its medical and relief operations in Sudan and Syria. In Sudan, the center has launched specialized surgical projects in Port Sudan, including ENT and general surgery missions. These efforts have resulted in hundreds of patient examinations, over 170 specialized surgeries, and the distribution of medical supplies, alongside training for local medical staff.

In the Blue Nile region of Sudan, the center distributed 1,000 shelter kits to approximately 5,930 individuals through its ‘Madad’ initiative. Additionally, KSrelief has provided 1,000 food baskets to families in the Rif Dimashq governorate of Syria.

In Khartoum state, KSrelief has focused on strengthening healthcare infrastructure. At Omdurman Teaching Hospital, the center provided a 730 KVA electrical generator and modern medical equipment for emergency, intensive care, and surgical departments. The center also established a medical oxygen production station capable of producing 20 cubic meters per hour, supporting the hospital's ability to manage critical cases and daily surgical procedures.
