King Salman Relief Centre rehabilitates schools in Syria
The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) has signed an executive program with a civil society organization to rehabilitate educational and community buildings in the Homs Governorate of Syria. The project focuses on the city of Al-Qusayr, where two schools and a social facility will undergo comprehensive restoration.
The scope of work includes the rehabilitation of 53 classrooms, 17 administrative rooms, and various laboratories and halls. To ensure a stable learning environment, the project will also include furnishing the buildings and installing solar energy systems to provide continuous power.
The initiative is expected to directly benefit 2,715 individuals and indirectly support approximately 12,500 people in the surrounding area. This project is part of a broader educational asset restoration program in Syria, which has already seen the rehabilitation, construction, and equipping of 62 schools across several Syrian governorates.
