King Saud University partners with CIPD to develop human resources
King Saud University has announced a strategic partnership with the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) to enhance human capital and professional practices in alignment with international standards. The collaboration involves the university’s Deanship of Human Resources, Deanship of Skills Development, and the College of Business Administration.
The partnership is built upon five primary pillars: enhancing professional capabilities, supporting research and knowledge production, participating in professional activities, achieving academic and professional accreditation, and building a specialized professional community.
Under this agreement, the university aims to develop training systems based on CIPD methodology, which includes qualifying practitioners, creating competency frameworks, and ensuring quality control. Additionally, the university seeks to have its bachelor’s, master’s, and executive master’s programs in human resource management accredited according to global standards to better align academic learning with labor market requirements.
