King Warrior named National PTA Parent of the Year

Damian Billy “King Warrior” Tonge, an Antiguan entertainer and philanthropist, has been named the National Parent Teacher Association’s Parent of the Year for 2025–2026.

Tonge earned the recognition for his extensive support of Irene B. Williams Secondary School. His contributions include donating sound and musical equipment for school functions such as graduation ceremonies, Independence celebrations, and sporting events. He has also supported the school’s football program by sponsoring uniforms for the Under-20 team and pledging hydration supplies for players during the season.

Although his involvement began while his son was a student at the school, Tonge has pledged to continue his support for the institution’s programs and the wider student body regardless of his son’s graduation.
