Kinga Rusin reports knife seizure by Chinese customs in Beijing

Polish journalist Kinga Rusin and her partner, Marek Kujawa, reported a difficult start to their trip to China after arriving in Beijing. Upon landing, Chinese customs officials confiscated a knife belonging to Kujawa, claiming the blade was 0.5 cm longer than permitted.

Rusin noted that attempts to explain the situation were unsuccessful and reportedly provoked aggression from the border officials. She shared the incident on social media, expressing frustration over the loss of a sentimental item that had been used during their travels around the world.
