Kingdom Come: Deliverance II Royal Edition announced for Nintendo Switch 2

Warhorse Studios and Deep Silver have announced that Kingdom Come: Deliverance II Royal Edition is scheduled to launch on the Nintendo Switch 2 in 2027. The announcement was made during a recent Nintendo Direct.

The Royal Edition will include the base game, all premium story expansions, exclusive gear, and a bonus questline. The title is set in 15th-century Bohemia and follows the character Henry of Skalitz in an open-world medieval RPG setting.

Planned features for the Nintendo Switch 2 version include HDR support, Joy-Con 2 mouse mode support, and an enlarged menu UI for smaller displays. Technical specifications indicate handheld play at 1080p and docked play at up to 1440p via upscaling. Additionally, the release will include various gameplay bug fixes. The original Kingdom Come: Deliverance will be playable on the new hardware through backward compatibility.
