The Disney D23 app has listed profiles for Tai Yasue, co‑director of Kingdom Hearts 4, and voice actors Haley Joel Osment (Sora) and David Gallagher (Riku). Their inclusion suggests the upcoming "Deep Dive into Kingdom Hearts" panel on 15 August 2026 will feature new details on Kingdom Hearts 4.

Square Enix, which released a new trailer in June and announced a Kingdom Hearts Collection for Nintendo Switch, has not confirmed a release date for the sequel. Fans hope the D23 panel will provide fresh gameplay footage or further information about the game's launch.
