Kingdom Hearts 4 may feature discarded Cars world concept

Speculation has emerged regarding the potential inclusion of a Pixar-themed world in the upcoming video game Kingdom Hearts 4. Development materials from the previous installment, Kingdom Hearts 3, suggest that a world based on the film 'Cars' was considered and explored before being excluded from the final version.

While Square Enix has not confirmed the presence of Radiator Springs or Lightning McQueen in the new title, the existence of previous concept work makes the possibility notable. Such an addition could introduce unique gameplay mechanics, such as high-speed racing and chases, and allow the protagonist, Sora, to undergo character transformations consistent with previous entries in the series. However, the presence of discarded development assets does not guarantee that the idea will be revived for the fourth installment.
