Kingdom Hearts modder announces unofficial port of delisted mobile game

A modder known as Arena7664 has announced an unofficial web-based port of the delisted mobile game ‘Kingdom Hearts Union X Dark Road’. The port is designed to run on both PC and mobile devices via web browsers.

Originally released by Square Enix, the title was removed from digital storefronts in 2024. This version will focus on the playable ‘Dark Road’ portion of the app, allowing players to experience the story through cutscenes. The modder plans to include Japanese and English language options and will archive the project on Archive.org.

To improve the user experience, the port will feature quality-of-life updates such as the ability to unlock all cutscenes, character leveling adjustments, and options to speed up or slow down gameplay. The release is currently pending final community feedback and adjustments.
