New video games Rise of the Spellbaker, Militsioner, and Kingdom III announced for 2027
Several upcoming video games have been announced for a 2027 release window across PC and various consoles.
Kalypso Media and Realmforge Studios revealed Rise of the Spellbaker, a fairytale-inspired action-adventure. Players control a witch using ‘spellbaking’ magic to fight a mysterious plague in the land of Khemia. The game will support up to six players in multiplayer mode and is slated for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5.
Critical Reflex and developer Tallboys announced Militsioner, a first-person immersive sim. The game features a surreal premise where an ordinary citizen is monitored by a giant policeman. Players must navigate a city and manage character relationships to escape. It is scheduled for PC and Xbox Series X|S, with a day-one release on Game Pass.
Raw Fury and Fury Studios introduced Kingdom III: Rising Realms, a strategy game where players act as a monarch reclaiming a shattered realm. The title features procedurally generated islands and is confirmed for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch 2.
