Kingdom of Night to launch on consoles November 5, 2026

DANGEN Entertainment has announced that the isometric action RPG Kingdom of Night will launch on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on November 5, 2026. Developed by Friends of Safety, the game originally released on PC in December 2025.

Set in 1987 in Miami, Arizona, the game features a blend of 1980s nostalgia, teenage drama, and cosmic horror. The narrative follows a high school student named John as he battles demons unleashed by a satanic cult. Players can choose from five character classes: Barbarian, Knight, Rogue, Necromancer, and Sorcerer. The game supports solo play or two-player local co-op.

Pre-orders for Nintendo Switch and Xbox Series X|S are currently available with a 10% discount. A special ‘Kingdom of Night — MIDNIGHT EDITION’ will be available exclusively for PlayStation 5, which includes the full game and a collection of 25 exclusive PSN avatars.
