Kingfishr to perform at sold-out Derry show

Limerick-based indie-folk band Kingfishr is set to perform at a sold-out Live at the Square event in Ebrington Square, Derry. The performance follows the band's significant success in Ireland, including their viral hit ‘Killeagh’, which topped the Irish charts multiple times and became the most streamed song on Spotify in Ireland for 2025.

Singer-songwriter McGrath, also known as Mick Russell, will open the event. The 24-year-old artist from Rathmullan described the opportunity as the biggest gig of his career. The concert is expected to draw a crowd of between 5,000 and 6,000 fans to the venue.
