King’s Cross adds Potato Art Studio and Cass Art to creative hub
The King’s Cross Group has announced the addition of Potato Art Studio and Cass Art to its London estate, reinforcing the area's status as a center for creativity and design.
Potato Art Studio is scheduled to open a 1,340 sq ft location in early 2027. The studio will offer hands-on workshops, including pottery painting, candle making, and various arts and crafts activities designed to make creativity accessible to all ages.
Cass Art, an art materials retailer, joined the estate in September, occupying 3,500 sq ft. The retailer maintains partnerships with institutions such as the National Portrait Gallery, Sky Arts, and the University of the Arts London to support local artists and community projects.
These arrivals follow a 20-year lease agreement with the University of the Arts London, which will allow Central Saint Martins to expand its campus by 17,782 sq ft into the Western Transit Shed. The new occupiers join an existing creative ecosystem that includes Lightroom and various public art installations.
