Kings of Leon announce new acoustic album ‘O My Beloved’
Rock band Kings of Leon has announced their tenth studio album, ‘O My Beloved’, scheduled for release on November 6 via Love Tap Records. The 13-track project marks a shift toward a more personal, acoustic, and stripped-down songwriting direction.
Frontman Caleb Followill revealed that the change in musical tone was prompted by an injury sustained while playing tag with his children, which resulted in a broken foot and the cancellation of a planned European tour. This period of recovery led to the creation of more melancholic, family-oriented songs rather than the electric-leaning tracks the band had previously been developing.
The band has released the first single, ‘My Whole World’, which reflects these themes of gratitude and domestic life. To celebrate the announcement, the group is also performing an intimate homecoming show in Nashville.
