Kingston medical facility struck by vehicle driven by 92-year-old

A 92-year-old woman from Woodstock crashed her vehicle into a medical office building in Kingston, New York, on Tuesday morning. The incident occurred just before 10 a.m. at 33 Grand Street, a facility that houses various cardiovascular and specialized medical practices.

According to the Kingston Police Department, the driver was parked in the lot outside the building when she mistakenly placed her 2025 Nissan into drive instead of reverse and accelerated into the structure. The building sustained minor damage.

The driver was not injured in the collision but was transported by the Kingston Fire Department to HealthAlliance Hospital for reasons described by police as “unrelated” to the accident. Details regarding the nature of her medical transport have not been released.
