Kingyo Chuiho! anime to receive limited YouTube release for 35th anniversary

To celebrate its 35th anniversary, the classic TV anime ‘Kingyo Chuiho!’ will be released for a limited time on the Toei Animation Museum YouTube channel.

Starting September 21, one episode will be released every Monday at 18:00. Each episode will be available for a two-week period. The first broadcast on September 21 is scheduled as a premiere.

Based on the manga by Neko Nekobu serialized in Kodansha’s ‘Nakayoshi’, the series originally aired from January 1991 to February 1992. The comedy follows the chaotic school life of a cheerful girl named Wapiko and a pink goldfish named Gyopi-chan in the setting of Shindenka Junior High School.
