Kino Utajeno to host secret film screening in Litoměřice tunnel

The Kino Utajeno project is expanding beyond Prague for the first time as part of the 26th Litoměřice Film Festival (FIFELI). On August 29, a former railway tunnel located beneath the historic center of Litoměřice will be transformed into a unique cinematic space.

Following the project's signature concept, the title of the film remains a secret until the last moment. The event is designed as an immersive experience that blends film with theater, site-specific dramaturgy, and interactive elements, including performances and a gamified film quiz. The selected films are typically award-winning auteur works that have appeared at international festivals but are no longer in standard Czech distribution.

Due to the tunnel's naturally low temperatures, organizers advise attendees to bring warm clothing. The venue has previously served as a filming location for international productions, such as the Resident Evil series.
