Kinokawa City launches persimmon sales promotion

Kinokawa City, a major persimmon-producing region in Wakayama Prefecture, is launching promotional activities for the upcoming persimmon season.

In collaboration with the JA Wakayama Kinosato Regional Headquarters, officials will conduct top sales at the Ishinomaki Fruit and Flower Wholesale Market in Miyagi Prefecture on October 2, 2026. The event will feature greetings from regional representatives and the distribution of fruit to promote the local harvest.
