KinoKlas launches film education program for youth in Ruse

KinoKlas Ruse, Bulgaria's largest film education program, is launching an initiative for youth in the Ruse region. Organized by director and producer Nadezhda Koseva, the free program is funded by the National Culture Fund and supported by the Ruse Municipality.

Targeting teenagers aged 13 to 18, the program runs from September 19 to October 11. Participants will attend bi-weekly online sessions with industry professionals to learn about screenwriting, directing, cinematography, set design, acting, sound, and editing. Following the online phase, a team of filmmakers will visit Ruse for 10 days to assist the students in filming their own short movie. The project concludes with a special screening of the finished film during the ‘Sofia Film Fest on the Move – Ruse’ event.
