Kinoteka na Makedonija announces September film program

The Kinoteka na Makedonija has announced its September film program, which features a diverse selection including Macedonian productions, Balkan cinema, silent films, and world classics. The program begins on September 1 with Mitko Panov’s drama ‘Witness’, a film exploring themes of war crimes, justice, and political memory.

A significant portion of the month is dedicated to classic American cinema. Featured titles include John Huston’s ‘Beat the Devil’, an adventure comedy starring Humphrey Bogart; Louis Allen’s political thriller ‘Suddenly’ featuring Frank Sinatra; and James Edward Grant’s classic Western ‘Angel and the Badman’ starring John Wayne. The program also includes special segments dedicated to Croatian film and various cultural traditions.
