Kinshasa Tax Authority Hosts 152 Companies at Fiscal Clinics
On 5 August 2026, the Direction Générale des Impôts (DGI) in Kinshasa organized fiscal clinics that attracted 152 companies. The event aimed to help taxpayers understand and use newly introduced digital tax tools, including electronic invoicing and online filing platforms. Technical partners and software providers set up demonstration stands where participants could test equipment, discuss system integration, and receive on‑site assistance with issues such as connectivity and compliance with the standardized invoice format. DGI officials reported that many concerns were resolved during the clinics, reinforcing the administration’s push to modernise tax procedures and improve compliance among businesses.
The clinics also served as a platform for dialogue between the tax authority, telecom operators, and certified software vendors, fostering greater adoption of digital fiscal services across the private sector.
