Kintetsu Department Store Nara hosts sweets and gourmet food event

Kintetsu Department Store Nara will host the 5th Popular Taste Tour from October 21 to October 27, 2026. The event features a wide variety of Japanese and Western confectionery brands from across Japan, including several making their debut at the venue.

Featured brands include Shiga-based Nakanishi Eiseido, the social media-popular sweets brand AMILY, and Tokyo-based Togenuki Fukujuan. The lineup also includes items from Hokkaido’s Caramel Kitchen and Ehime’s Yamadaya Manju.

In addition to sweets, the event will feature a daily rotation of regional gourmet foods. Scheduled highlights include Wagyu beef bento from Hatsuda, Koyama Rolls from Patissier Es Koyama, Anago Meshi from Hiroshima’s Anago Meshi Ueno, and pork buns from Roshouki.
