Kintetsu Railway to offer Nara World Heritage digital passes on my route app

Kintetsu Railway Company and Toyota Financial Services have announced that seven types of ‘Nara World Heritage Digital Free Passes’ will be available for purchase via the ‘my route’ outing application starting October 1, 2026.

The digital tickets allow travelers from Osaka, Kyoto, and Nagoya to visit various World Heritage sites in Nara Prefecture. The ‘Nara-Ikaruga Course’ covers the ‘Historic Monuments of Ancient Nara’ and ‘Buddhist Monuments in the Horyu-ji Area.’ The ‘Nara-Ikaruga-Yoshino Course’ includes these sites plus the ‘Sacred Sites and Pilgrimage Routes in the Kii Mountain Range’ and the ‘Asuka-Fujiwara Palace Site,’ which was newly registered as a World Heritage site in July 2026.

Passes include unlimited rides on Kintetsu trains and Nara Kotsu buses within designated areas, along with various benefits at temples, shrines, and tourist facilities. To celebrate the launch, a discount campaign for the Nara-Ikaruga Course will run on the ‘my route’ app from October 1 through December 31, 2026.
