Kioxia ranks 8th globally in semiconductor revenue for Q2 2026

According to a report by Semiconductor Intelligence, Kioxia ranked 8th in the global semiconductor revenue rankings for the second quarter of 2026 (April–June). Kioxia was the top-performing Japanese company in the top 20, showing a 76% increase in revenue compared to the previous quarter.

The global semiconductor market reached $368 billion in Q2 2026, representing a 104% increase year-on-year and a 35% increase from the previous quarter. This rapid growth is primarily driven by sustained demand for AI-related technologies.

NVIDIA led the global rankings with $96.2 billion in revenue, followed by Samsung Electronics ($83.2 billion), SK hynix ($51.8 billion), Micron Technology ($41.5 billion), and Broadcom ($29.4 billion). Kioxia and Sandisk both saw significant growth, with revenues expanding more than fourfold compared to the same period last year due to high demand for AI flash memory.
