Kips Bay Decorator Show House returns to Greenwich Village
The 51st Kips Bay Decorator Show House is set to open in New York City’s Greenwich Village, utilizing a revived 1839 Georgian townhouse located at 80 West Washington Place. The event features 22 designers and architects who will transform the multi-level space into various immersive interiors inspired by themes ranging from celestial bodies to 1970s Manhattan.
For the first time, the event will include a dedicated curator, Gay Gassmann, who will integrate American artworks from prominent galleries into the designs. Participating designers include industry veterans such as Peter Dunham, Chad Dorsey, and Corey Damen Jenkins, alongside newcomers like Nicole Fisher.
The annual showcase serves as a major fundraiser for the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club, supporting educational and enrichment programs for youth throughout New York City. Over the past five decades, the event has raised more than $33 million to $35 million for the organization.
