Kiran Reddy wins Miss Teen USA, making history for Georgia and Indian Americans

Kiran Reddy, an 18-year-old student from Douglas, Georgia, has made history as the first Indian American to win the Miss Teen USA title. Her victory occurred on August 26 during the 44th annual competition held at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts in Miami, Florida.

Reddy, a biological sciences student at the University of Georgia, also became the first contestant from Georgia to win the national crown. Her win follows several years of competition, including finishing as first runner-up in 2024 and second runner-up the following year, before she was crowned Miss Georgia Teen USA in June 2026.

Following her national win, Reddy is scheduled to represent the United States at the Miss Teen Universe competition in Cambodia in October 2026.
