Rijiju characterized Khera’s comments as “abusive” and “indecent,” asserting that he swims with villagers to inspire them. He also threatened to report Khera’s conduct to Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. The dispute followed Khera’s social media posts suggesting that BJP leaders are obsessed with Rahul Gandhi.
