Kiril Domuschiev accuses Bulgarian Football Union of bias
Ludogorets owner Kiril Domuschiev has issued sharp criticisms against the Bulgarian Football Union (BFS) and refereeing standards in the First League. The outburst followed a match between Dunav and Levski, where Domuschiev claimed Levski captain Kristian Dimitrov should have received a red card.
Domuschiev alleged a double standard by comparing the incident to an earlier match where referee Marian Grebencarski issued a red card to Ludogorets player Ruan Cruz. He further accused BFS President Georgi Ivanov of favoritism toward specific teams and criticized Stanimir Trenchev regarding his role in the VAR room.
Domuschiev stated that the current administration is becoming harmful to Bulgarian football and indicated that Ludogorets will release an official position on Monday detailing other controversial refereeing decisions.
