Kiril Raykov and Lyubomira Milosheva win A1 Athletics for Youth series

Kiril Raykov and Lyubomira Milosheva have secured first place in the general classification of the ‘A1 Athletics for Youth’ talent series. Raykov, representing Europul Burgas, finished with 1378 points, while Milosheva, from Rilski Atlet Samokov, earned 1251 points.

In the boys' category, Velizar Virishapkov and Bogomil Petrov followed in second and third place, respectively. In the girls' category, Radina Markova finished just six points behind Milosheva, with Tsvetina Pashovska taking third place.

The series concluded with a final held at the renovated Iskar Stadium in Samokov on August 28. The competition circuit began in Burgas on April 4 and included stops in Yambol, Sofia, Gabrovo, Hisarya, and Panagyurishte. Award ceremonies featured notable figures, including legendary long-distance runner Milka Mihaylova and the first winner of the series from 2015, Vivian Krasteva.
