Kirin Beer releases new Harekaze commercial featuring Ren Meguro and Mitsuyoshi Uchimura

Kirin Beer has launched its new TV commercial for ‘Harekaze’ titled ‘Hareyakana Kanpai’ (A Bright Toast), featuring Mitsuyoshi Uchimura and Ren Meguro. The campaign, which begins airing across Japan on October 23, 2026, focuses on the theme of reuniting with loved ones over a drink.

In the commercial and accompanying interviews, Meguro discusses his recent experiences in Canada, including his first attempt at horseback riding. He noted that while the experience was intimidating, he learned to trust his horse, Robin. Both actors expressed their appreciation for the renewed flavor of the beer, noting its improved richness and ease of drinking.

The footage captures a natural reunion between the two, highlighting their long-standing rapport. Uchimura remarked that the commercial served as a timely ‘welcome back’ celebration for Meguro following his time abroad.
