Kirin Beverage launches new TV commercial featuring Mana Ashida

Kirin Beverage has announced the nationwide release of its new television commercial for ‘Kirin Oishii Men'eki Care,’ titled ‘World’s First Invention,’ starting October 30. The commercial features actress Mana Ashida visiting the Kirin Health Science Research Institute.

During the advertisement, Ashida is guided by Kenta Jounai, a lead researcher at the institute, where she learns about ‘Plasma Lactobacillus.’ This specific probiotic has been scientifically reported to act directly on plasmacytoid dendritic cells (pDCs) in humans.

In interviews following the shoot, Ashida expressed her admiration for the researchers' dedication to their work. Jounai noted that while the research into Plasma Lactobacillus initially faced indifference, the team continued their work steadily to achieve their current discoveries.
