Kirishima Shuzo launches new Kuro Kirishima campaign with Tori Matsuzaka
Kirishima Shuzo has launched a new nationwide television commercial campaign for its signature 'Kuro Kirishima' shochu, beginning September 6, 2026, to coincide with 'Kuro Kirishima Day'. The campaign features actor Tori Matsuzaka in three distinct scenarios—couples, parents and children, and friends—to illustrate how the spirit accompanies everyday dining moments.
The commercials utilize a newly arranged version of the song 'Swallowtail Butterfly ~Aino Uta~', performed by singer Yu Sakai. A full digital release of the track is expected on September 16, 2026.
During a press event for the launch, Matsuzaka discussed his personal life, noting that his wife, Erika Toda, serves as his cooking mentor and that he has become proficient in making spring rolls. To celebrate the campaign, a limited-time pop-up event, 'Hodokeru Kurokiri Sakaba', is being held at Toranomon Hills Cafe from September 6 to September 9.
