Kirk Cousins linked to potential trade to Philadelphia Eagles

Speculation has emerged regarding a potential trade that would send Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Kirk Cousins to the Philadelphia Eagles. Following the season-ending injury to Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts, analysts have suggested that Cousins could provide the veteran leadership necessary to salvage Philadelphia's season.

Former Las Vegas Raiders head coach Jon Gruden suggested that both the Eagles and the Minnesota Vikings could benefit from acquiring Cousins, proposing a second-round pick as a potential trade value. Analysts also noted a connection between Cousins and Eagles offensive coordinator Sean Mannion, who served as Cousins’ backup in Minnesota during 2019 and 2020.

The Raiders currently hold a 3-4 record and possess a high-profile backup in Fernando Mendoza. Meanwhile, the Eagles, sitting at 2-5, are looking for stability at the quarterback position after Hurts was ruled out due to blood clots in his lungs.
