Kirk Franklin and GloRilla announce new single ‘This Time’

Gospel artist Kirk Franklin and Memphis rapper GloRilla have announced a new collaborative single titled ‘This Time,’ scheduled for release on September 25. This marks their second collaboration following their 2025 BET Award-winning track ‘Rain Down On Me.’

The upcoming track features a sample of the late Shawty Lo’s ‘Dey Know.’ Franklin recently previewed the song on ‘Joe and Jada,’ sparking significant discussion across social media platforms regarding the blending of gospel and hip-hop. While some fans praised the innovative approach to praise and worship, others expressed surprise at the unexpected musical direction.
