Kirkland Lake Discoveries reports high-grade gold assays and secures 20M CAD
Kirkland Lake Discoveries (KLDC) has announced significant drilling results and new financing to accelerate exploration at its Mirado gold project in Canada’s Kirkland Lake district. The company recently secured approximately 20 million CAD in fresh capital, with notable participation from investor Eric Sprott.
Recent assay results from the Mirado West area include high-grade intercepts such as 73.86 g/t gold over 1.00 metre and 36.43 g/t gold over 1.45 metres. The company is also conducting a 25,000-metre drilling program to define the extent of gold-bearing structures and identify high-grade concentrations across the KL South project.
Kirkland Lake Discoveries holds a substantial land package exceeding 42,000 hectares across the KL South, KL West, and KL East areas. The company aims to leverage its recent funding to systematically test regional targets and update resource estimates for the Mirado project.
