Kirkland Signature launches Chicken + Grain Protein Bowl

Costco’s Kirkland Signature brand introduced a new ready‑to‑eat Chicken + Grain Protein Bowl, featuring rotisserie chicken, barley‑quinoa blend, vegetables, hard‑boiled egg, roasted edamame, pickled cabbage, sweet potato and a side of mixed nuts, dressed with an Asian‑style sauce. The product is sold by the pound for about $8.99 and contains common allergens such as egg, sesame, soy, tree nuts and wheat.

Other grocery retailers also rolled out new items, including Merchant Gourmet’s Italian Supergrain Bowl, Warburtons’ Wholegrain & Rye sourdough loaf, Pringles Minis Sour Cream & Onion crisps, Twister Mini Tropical Ice Cream lollies and Sainsbury’s Greek‑style vanilla frozen yoghurt. These products are marketed as high‑fiber, protein‑rich or low‑calorie options and are available at major UK supermarkets.
