Kirodi Lal Meena hospitalized with H1N1 swine flu

Rajasthan Agriculture Minister Kirodi Lal Meena has been admitted to the medical ICU at Sawai Mansingh (SMS) Hospital in Jaipur after testing positive for the H1N1 swine flu virus. Hospital administration is closely monitoring his condition.

In Delhi, health authorities are also responding to a rise in influenza cases. Health Minister Pankaj Kumar Singh reported approximately 3,000 influenza cases in the capital this year, of which 2,308 are confirmed H1N1 cases. While officials stated that medical supplies and staff are sufficient and the situation is under control, isolation wards have been established in hospitals to manage the influx of patients.
