Kirti Vardhan Singh visits Saudi Arabia to strengthen strategic ties
Indian Minister of State for External Affairs Kirti Vardhan Singh is conducting a four-day official visit to Saudi Arabia from September 5 to 8. This marks his first official visit to the Kingdom in this capacity.
During the visit, Singh held high-level meetings with several Saudi officials. He met with Ahmad bin Sulaiman Alrajhi, the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, to discuss cooperation in the labor and manpower sectors. He also met with Adel Al-Jubeir, the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Climate Affairs Envoy, to review bilateral relations and discuss cooperation on climate action.
The mission aims to strengthen the multifaceted strategic partnership between India and Saudi Arabia, focusing on mutual interests such as skill development, environment, climate change, and international affairs. Additionally, Singh is scheduled to engage with the Indian diaspora, including business leaders, entrepreneurs, and workers, to address their welfare and interests within the Kingdom.
