Kiruna 2029 invites artists to submit cultural projects

Kiruna, the Swedish European Capital of Culture 2029, has opened calls for artists and cultural organizations to participate in its official program. The initiative aims to foster European partnerships and collaborations.

There are two distinct opportunities for participation:

1. Artistic Projects: This call is for artists and organizations with developed proposals for medium or large-scale artistic projects. The submission deadline is October 31, 2026.

2. Test an Idea: This option is designed for those with initial concepts or ideas that they wish to develop, potentially in collaboration with other artists or organizations. The submission deadline for this category is December 31, 2026.

The Skopje – European Capital of Culture 2028 Foundation is sharing these opportunities with the Macedonian cultural scene to encourage international representation and cooperation.
